Hello
Hi, I am new to this board...haven;t posted on this site in a while in fact, but we are now ttc
I have seen my doctor and planned to start taking pre natal vitamins. Becoming pregnant is such a overwhelming feeling! A very good friend of mine just had 2 miscarriages. In fact, she went to her doctor last Thursday to have her first pre natal visit (at 10 weeks) and her doctor couldn't find a heartbeat... she is getting a d and c tomorrow. I am so excited to become pregnant yet I am so nervous. Is this normal to feel this way?
I hope I am not bringing anyone down by telling this story about my friend, its just something that is on my mind now that my husband and I are TTC.

Re: Hello
I think the whole TTC process is a rollercoaster ride, you just never know what to expect. Good luck to you!

Re: Hello
to you!
Sorry to hear about your friend Is that normal to wait a week to have a d and c? it seems like something that they would do right away. sorry, I dont know much about it, so I could be wrong.

Re: Hello
Glad you're here, hope your time is short!!!
D&C can wait a couple weeks, screwy I know.
I had a friend who's doctor made her wait 3 weeks to do more ultrasounds because she was so early in her pg that it was possible not to hear a heartbeat.....
