Heightened sense of smell?
I am still early, and haven't really been feeling many symptoms, but just today I think my sense of smell has heightened. I swear I keep thinking I smell cigarette smoke, in my office and it is SO strong. My coworkers at first didn't even notice it, but when I made them sniff around some more, one guy was like, yea, I smell it but its faint. But to me, I swear someone must be smoking IN my office! Which is not possible since we are on the 14th floor of a non-smoking building.
Anyone else have this???

omg.. yes! lol.. i couldn;t stand the smell of coffee and I swear I would smell cigarettes every where.. even in my house, and not a soul smokes.. fun times..

Yes! Totally normal. That's one reason that we get some food aversions - our sense of smell is so heightened!

Definitely!!! I can tell if someone has been smoking and in the beginning, I was throwing meat away a lot because every time I'd open the package it would smell spoiled to me (even though DH swore it smelled fine).

yep had this with both my pregnancies. I told my dh i was like superman cause i could smell things a mile away

me too. I'm constantly asking people "do you smell that?" and usually the answer is no!

Yup, this was one of my first symptoms!
I am soo with you on the cigarette smoke! I smell it 100x as much in our office now that I'm preggers. When my coworkers come back from their cigarette breaks, I smell them before I see them. Not to mention that the smell totally makes me sick!
Also, the week we found out I was pregnant, I smelled a melon that my husband was cutting from 2 rooms away. Weird!
