Re: Headache
Yes! I was getting terrible headaches right around 12-15 weeks. They eventually went away. Dr. said that Tylenol was totally safe to take if it was bad - some days I definitely did need it!

Re: Headache
I am in the same boat. I am 24 weeks and for the past 3 weeks, as soon as I wake up, it is a headache all day long. I am going to the doctor tonight and I am going to mention it. If she gives me a reason I will let you ladies know.

Re: Headache
I've had the worst headache all day today. I was reading online that it could be due to hormones. My doctor said it's safe to take Tylenol. I just took it even though it makes me nervous but I figure if the dr. says its ok it should be fine. Feel better!

I believe it's from the rise in your blood pressure. I get bad headaches and migraine from the end of the first trimester all the way until the start of the 3rd tri

Re: Headache
Any idea what your blood pressure is?
I had a lot of headaches, and I always took Tylenol and was fine. But as my appts went on, I found out I had pregnancy induced hypertention and had to go on blood pressure meds. I haven't had a single headache since then.
Not to say it's that... Hormones and lack of sleep play a big role. Just something to consider.

Re: Headache
I just came back from the doctor and asked her about headaches... she said it is totally normally - they cant really pin point why one gets headaches because it could be so many reasons but she said that it is typically due to hormones or lack of sleep in pregnant women. She said tylenol is safe or you might want to try a little caffeine. Hope that helped

Re: Headache
i had them before and they just stayed with me. I usually get them for 4 days in a row and they go away. I try to drink enough water and get enough sleep with no stress. So 2 out of three arent so hard to do but Its something that I have learned to live with. I was told its cause of the hormone levels and now I have sinus congestion so that's added to the mix.
Did you try taking tylenol? it doesnt kill the headache completely but dulls it enough for me to stand it.

Re: Headache
i got my first migrane @ 10w3d last week.. My whole life i had been prone to migranes but for the whole tri i didnt get any. I called my Dr. and said it was normal and to take tylenol.... ive noticed though lately i have been getting more and more headaches even though at this point they arent so bad that i cant deal with them.
After reading this post though i am not looking foward to the next couple of weeks... migranes are so dibilitating

Re: Headache
hmmmmm
ive been at work for an hour and i just started to get a tiny headache.
could it be the computer or lights? the only time i get them at home is when im tired. once i cloes my eyes with a nice dark room it starts to go away.
im going to the doc next week so im curious to hear what he says and im also curious about my blood pressure.
