HCG trigger question

how long does the trigger shot stay in your system? if i triggered on the 1st, and am now 5dp5dt which means i am 12DPO, the trigger is definitely out of my system right?

and you count your DPO past the day you triggered, correct?

Re: HCG trigger question

It should be out of your system now. You've already tested with a HPT right? If it came up negative, that would indicate the trigger is out of your system. With IVF, your DPO is counted the day after your retrieval since the egg isn't released but rather removed by the doctor.

Re: HCG trigger question

i tested last night and it was negative. but i tested on a dollar store test. then this morning i tested again and looked and saw nothing. my DH found a slight line...very slight. so i just POAS again on a first response test and once again, a very slight line.
im just praying that this is a positive and not a false positive.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: HCG trigger question

It's possible it's a true positive, at this point, since you've already tested, I would keep testing. If the line starts to get darker, BFP! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: HCG trigger question

The trigger should DEFINITELY be out of your system right now. I remember I tested at 8dpo and got a BFN, so I know it was gone then. And then I got my BFP at 13dpo.
