HCG Dilemma/ UPDATED
So I had 2 early sonos with no significant change. Only a yolk sac was seen in both. My actual due date has not even been given because my cycle was messed up in February and they believe I may have ovulated late. I was just sent for my HCG and progesterone. Progesterone came back at a 19.5 which is great. First beta came back 28628 and the second beta only came back as a 31660, so my numbers did not double.  My doctor called me back this evening and was wonderful as always. He said he wanted me to come in for my sono on the 18th to see if there is any change. He told me he didn't want to give me false hope, but also said that he has seen stranger things happen. I am just wondering if anyone else has seen this high of numbers without doubling and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I hate this empty feeling and I hate having to wait to know what will be.
UPDATE: It didn't end well, I go for my D&C next week. Good luck to all of you ladies and hopefully I will be back soon

I thought at a certain point when levels get so high they stop doubling.
Good Luck though. I'm sorry for what you are going through.

thanks ladies, yes at a certain point you have 96 hours to double, but HCG calculator says I would double at a rate of 13 days.

Yes I have heard this too. My dr. said you cannot go based off hcg after a certain point.
How many weeks are you now? And what weeks were your sonos done? I know you said your dates are off.
My levels were 14,000 at 6 and 7 weeks with no change. My progesterone was 10 which is low. I had an empty sac at all of my sonos (weeks 6, 7, & 8 - oh and one last one done at 9 weeks).
Anyway your numbers are pretty high though so I would stay positive.
