Having a Pre-Surgial Testing done!**Update**
I'm having this done! For those you have gone under to have a D&C done what surgical tests are run besides a normal Bllod test? How long does something like this take?

Mine was just a blood test....took all of about half an hour and most of that was waiting time.

Really??? Here I am thinking I am getting a blood test, a UA, cat scan, EKG all for a 25 min procedure done in the hospital!!! That would fantastic all it is is Bloodwork!!!! Just want this over and done with already!!

Yeah I had 2 done in 2 different hospitals and the first I didnt do any testign and the 2nd one was just a blood test and my medical history.
It is a quick proceedure btu I ended up beign there all day for the 2nd due to my Dr doign an emergency before me.

Oh WOW!!! I told DH that they want o schedule me in the morning but I am sure I will be there all day. I'll spend more time in recovery then anything else!! I am hoping I am not having all these crazy tests done tonight..it's not surgery!! I'm not getting sliced open!! It's just a D&C people!!! And to grab more tissue for my biopsy!

I had my Pre-Surgical testing done last night. It was mostly questions and about family history and surgeries I had in the past. They drew blood, checked my viitals and listened to my lungs.
Today I got a call from my Gyno office they need to repeat one blood test..my blood clotting was a little on the high side but can be from the medication I am on. I am on 2 for a cough and bacteria in my lungs. Which is pretty much over the day of the procedure or the day after. I now need medical clearance from the drs office because If the Anesthesiologist sees the meds they may cancel the procedure and pushing it back now! GRRRR!!!! I called my drs office and of course their computers are down..so they are gonna call me when they come back up! If this gets cancelled I will not be a happy camper at all!!! This is my fault cause I called the dr asking them to put me on a different medicine! I thought it be over by the time I had the procedure..and never thought about mentioning it to the dr!!! AHHHH!!! I hope I get clearance!! It's a procedure not surgery!!!!
