Have you ever heard of this?
Dh and I just put in a bid and our agent asked for 4 things. A letter stating what we liked about the house (strongly recommended but not required), our physical adress, the name of our attorney, and the name of our engineer.
Lastly, when a ML number no longer works on MLSLI what are the reasons? In contract? Owners listed with another realtor? Thanks in advance for your time and anticipated help .

I can see them asking for the last three to be able to present on a binder, but the reason why you like the house? Come on WTH is that?.
I would say this:
"I like the house because it's a dump and I feel that it's well under valued and with about 100k in renovations I feel it would make a perfect home. Please accept my bid." LOL

THANK YOU DH & I were
& when our agent asked for the letter...seriously aren't we beyond the like & do not like list. We joked of typing it up and stating we liked the outside color.
We feel like we would be helping create a promotional flyer. Thanks for making us feel sane again

We are in contract and the house that we are buying was removed from MLS. I didn't think that they removed it that quickly...but I guess they do.
It's not the house that you are bidding on that is missing is it?

what you liked? never heard of this. if highly recommended by agent, i would just state that you liked the location and house style.

Re: Have you ever heard of this?
we put a bid on a house and were also asked for the last 3 things you mentioned. we were not asked for a list of what we liked about the house. maybe the owners would like to know? honestly, if you write a nice list, you might get in well with the owners. which is never a bad thing!
ETA: Good Luck!

Nope. A couple of other houses we were going to look at are no longer coming up on-line.

The couple is no longer living in New York and they do have a young child. Thanks for your help ladies.
