Have you ever had someone come in just to sheetrock, tape and spackle?
I want to re-do our downstairs bathroom. I think my father and DH are going to sheetrock it but I would rather have someone come into tape and spackle. Anyone have this done? How much did it run? How much extra was it for them to sheet rock as well (incase my dad doesnt want to do it)?

first of all if you have someone to sheet rock ..take it.i know a great spackle guy..he will be the ONLY one i ever use again..i have had people in the past and honestly its such a mess..but this guy i used is so clean..anyway we have also had a sheet rock guy come into our house ..SOOOOOOOOO expensive.like $1200.00 for one room. not that big either. well the spackle guy recommended him and even he was surprised.anyway if you need a number let meknow i can get it for you.

Yes! I had it done a couple of times. taht work is so tedious and like an art form, for goodness sakes.
we sheetrock and paint, but someone has to be paid to do the spackling right!
