Have You & DH Ever Broken Up?
before (or even after) you and dh got married did you ever break up?
we did. once by choice, once not.
the first time was when my parents found out about us and made sure we didnt see each other for months. the 2nd time was my decision.
we say it was 'meant to be' since we kept comign back to each other

We didn't. I told my DH as soon as we started dating that if we break up it will be for good. I don't do the back and forth thing.

We went through a period where we were fighting all the time... so we took a 'break' but it lasted about 24 hours 
The idea was to basically just not see eachother/talk for a few days so that we wouldn't fight. We just ended up talking about what was going on, and got past it

Me too. My first husband and I started dating when I was 19 and we broke up many times before we got married. In the end it didn't work out and those breakups should have been a sign that things weren't meant to be. Perfectly happy with my DH and we never broke up.

We used to fight constantly a couple years ago, so we've broken up quite a few times. We were stupid, made bad decisions and were very young parents. But we were forced to deal with our issues together and I believe that's what made our relationship stronger.

No we never did - it's because of him though. Every time I said Maybe we should break up he would stop me and say You don't mean that, or Is that what you really want? He wouldn't ever let us not be together, which means a lot considering that for a period of over a year we were living in separate countries!

We did. DH was going through a horrible divorce when we started dating (after 15 years of friendship). Even though his first marriage was over, we stopped seeing each other until they sold their house and he was no longer living with his ex & her kids.
Once that was taken care of, we have never been apart

We had a huge fight once and I tried to break up with him, but he wouldn't let me leave. Ironically, he had an engagement ring in his dresser drawer the whole time and would propose a few weeks later.
