Hatchimals - reserve at Toys R Us *Update*
I was at Toys R Us this a.m. and there was a thing that you wrote down your name, number and the hatchimals color that you want and they are supposed to call you when they get a shipment.
Not sure if they will really call, or if it's done in all the Toys R Us stores (mine is in Queens), but I figured I'd give you all a heads up. I know a lot of kids want that this year.
Update: So, Toys R Us just called DH to let him know they got them in stock. He's on his way to pick it up now!! Yay!!!

Good luck I have a friend that reserved in staten island and they sold them on him and another tru in Brooklyn said they won't do that cause is such a hot item

I got mine at a Barnes and Noble last week and they held them for me over the phone. Not sure if they still will do this but worth a try.

Some TRU have a list, others don't. Massapequa told me to call the day before I want to come to see if they're on the truck. Other stores told me to get on the list  *

That's insane anyone that would bid would have to be nuts
Also one tru told dh they are holding them till Black Friday which I also think is wrong and crazy

My DD pointed this out in the TRU catalog but she never remembers things...lol. Thankfully her birthday is in March, so if she still wants one I will get it for her birthday when there will be plenty in the store for sale at the normal price.

We got them at the one in Nanuet. my friend was going there that day. she had called before they opened last Thursday and they had just gotten in 12 and we were able to have them set aside for us.
Same friend told me that the one in Yonkers started a list because they were supposed to be getting more in

I was actually able to get 2 (one for each kid). I ordered one on Amazon and one on Walmart. (Walmart was $48.99 and Amazon $59.00). I signed up for that alert site that texts you when they are in stock. Even with that it took me a few days to score one but if you aren't quick they sell out. I was able to have those 2 orders process but I don't know if it will really come. I guess I will have to see

I think you have a better chance at this location. I have always been able to get shopkins and things that sell out at other stores- I think it's an out of the way location and a lot of ppl don't even know about it.
That said, I signed up on zoolerts and was able to score one for $59.99 on amazon last night. it takes a few days, and some of the links they sent were to shady sites or walmart for $235, but I just kept checking and it finally worked.

They're regularly $59.99, but the one DH just picked up, was on sale for $49.99. Not sure why they put such a hot toy on sale, but whatevs. Score for me. And, they give 10% off on Thursdays, so we really got a great deal.

Cool - I didn't see your first post so I thought you were talking about the TRU in Nanuet reserving. I will have to keep stalking the BN there. I know they have had them at Shop Rite too while they were out of stock at other places.
My son hasnt' asked for one yet... But, I'm thinking he will at the 11th hour.
