Has anyone watched Parental Control on MTV?
So is this the worst show ever? Or just really poorly scripted?
Who would put themselves through this? Please, please tell me that this show is fake!

We watched it the other day and it is pretty bad. I actually like the concept of the show but it just doesn't play out well.
I think it's hysterical that the parents choose a date for their child b/c they hate the idiots they are going out with.

Unfortunately, I think it's real and it proves that people would do anything to get on TV. I know most sane people wouldn't agree to being on a show like that, because honestly, even if a kids parents don't like their significant other, what kid is going to say "Okay, mom and dad, I'll date somebody of your choice then?" Most teenagers would fight them over it instead of giving in and humiliating their SO on national television.

Even though most of the bfs and gfs that the parents hate are really gross, I still feel bad for them. I always ask myself, WHO would do that?

YES! I was watching this yesterday and the boyfriend called the mom a wh0re! And she didnt seem that pizzed by it. So that leads me to believe that it is somewhat scripted.

When they're choosing they always act so monotone though. "Well, it was really hard to choose," said in a Ben Steinesq voice.
