has anyone used a donor egg?

we may be going this route, and i'm just wondering about what all is involved from my end as far as meds and stuff?

A DE cycle is a lot like an FET really. They synch your cycle up with donor via BCP's then give you lupron (though some places use something else) to suppress your system. then you get AF (after BCP's stop but continue on lupron). Then usually when donor gets her AF and starts stimming you start estrogen (whatever form your RE uses pills, shots, patches) to build up your uterine lining. You really only go in like 4-5 times for monitoring over the whole coarse of the cycle. Sometimes only 1 lining check. When donor triggers you then stop lupron, continue estrogen and add progesterone (usually PIO form). Most places have you also start midrol (steroid) and anti-biotics - supposed to help with implantation. So, you are ready for transfer 3-5 days after ER.
