has anyone had this problem
Hi Ladies,
I am 8 weeks ~ in my first sono they found a polup on my ovary... i have to go for an ultrasound next friday ~ has anyone had the same thing? Getting really nervous... (of course the dr tells me not to be nervous and said i have probably had this for years and did not even know it and he said most of the time it is nothing...) but they just want to be sure and they are sending me to a specialist...
thanks a bunch ladies

No, I haven't had this problem, but just wanted to send some and say that I'm sure you're doctor is right that you shouldn't worry. Good luck!

I had the same thing. It went away by the 12 week sono. My dr told me it's very common. Good luck!!

Re: has anyone had this problem
I was just surfing the boards and came across this--- I just found out early this month that I have a polyp as well. Since we're TTC my RE told me that it could cause difficulty for implantation- but since you're already pg you didnt have that problem. We did an IUI this cycle and the dr told me that if it worked that my progesterone throughout the pregnancy could make it smaller or possibly go away--- and not to worry. I found out today if my IUI worked--- if not then I have to go have surgery to have it removed. Hopefully you won't have to have anything done- I can't imagine that you would, since you're pg. HTH!

the dr said normally if i was not pregnant he would go in and just remove it but since we are pg he said that is not an option at this time... i guess the unknown is so scary! but i have been cystic over the years and when my old GYN used to send me for sono's by the time i would go it would be gone...so i am hoping by next fri that it will not be there...
