has anyone had a panic attack while pregnant?
its been a while since i have had full blown attacks but i have had two or three in the past few months. before the preg i could take a xanax if i started feeling goofy. of course i cant now.
they are fast and furious and are out of the blue.
scares the living crap out of me and i feel more scared because i dont have a rescue med like before.
i am sure its all the new stresses and excitement about being pregnant plus the hormones making me more suseptible to them...but it stinks!
anyone else dealing with this issue? hate it! xoxoxo

i think i responded earlier to similar post, but i really think that anxiety should be controlled during pregnancy ( i am on lex) and i was lucky enough not to have anything major. well, as i am getting close, anxiety is getting worse, so we will see. i heard klonopin might be okay in low doses, ask your dr!

i am on lex right now and i was told no klonopin. andthis is what stinks is its random and inbetween no major anxiety taht i dont think is normal for pregnancy.
i hope the panic monster stays away for you as you get further along! ty xoxo

was on 20 went down to 10 a month or so ago...dr wants me off it by the middle of second tri.

I know this sounds nuts but when I have a bad anxiety attack I drink really cold water and for some strange reason it helps!!!

i was on 20mg pre pregnancy and on 10mg while prego with no breaks. i am 36w and planning to take it till the end. it is a risk and personal decision. i have bad panic attacks, i can not do without lex, so i decided to stay on it. my psych dr said it is ok
