Me too! I loved the first 2 and just started this one. So far a little slow. Glad to hear you all like it so maybe it'll pick up.
The part that sucks is it's been a bit since I read the last one so need to refresh my memory on some fractions and pple.

Yup! Wasn't happy with it at all. Loved the first two books and they changed the characters. I was so looking forward to it too.

Yup! Wasn't happy with it at all. Loved the first two books and they changed the characters. I was so looking forward to it too.
Just finished and it was a big letdown. I was hoping for more but the whole book was just kind of blah to me.

Extremely disappointing.
There was no emotional connection to anyone. Hated the alternating POVs--half the time I'd be in the middle of a chapter and didn't remember whose POV I was supposed to be in because they were exactly the same. The ending had no impact because the whole book had no impact. What a departure from the other two books.

I too hated the different POV. Half the time I thought it was the opposite person. The book was blah to me and the ending corresponded with the book. I hope the movie version of this changes the ending. It pretty much sucked.

I just finished this book & I am very disappointed with the ending. I skimmed through some of it as I felt is was repetitive.

I loved the book right up until the ending. I practically threw my phone across the room. I should have known it was coming too bc in an interview she had said she choose "very carefully who was going to die"

To be honest, I cried at the end. I hated that she killed off Tris, but at the same time it really did make sense (don't yell at me lol). If you read her interview, she does explain everything. I HATED the different POV and what they made Tobias into (whiny annoying girl ugh). All-in-all I liked the series a lot. But I am NOT looking forward to the movie. I think the casting choices were odd (ESPECIALLY Tris and Four - I don't like the girl who is playing Tris and Four is just TOO hot (not that I'm complaining lol) compared to what he should be) and, from the trailer, it looks like a lot was changed.

The trailer doesn't look great and for anyone who hasn't read the book, understanding what the movie is about is difficult to understand.

Loved the first two books but thought the author lost her mojo by Allegiant. I have read books with two POV's and never had a problem with it but she did a horrible job of it. Let's face it, it was really only one person talking. I think she ruined Tobias's character because of it. The ending was absolutely horrible. I have no problem with a main character dying if it means something. Her brother was a douche but he lives, Peter started as the bully and evolves to a nobody, her killer gets to live and all is well because he has no memory?! 
I do hope if this becomes a movie as well they at least alter the ending. I would like to see Caleb take a bullet for Trish to redeem himself.

when Tris dies it was like oh ok she got shot again no big deal the same way she was beat up and shot etc but then she was dead ...... I don't care that she was killed off but it just sucked the way it was done

I didn't mind the alternating points of view, hated that she killed Tris  . As for the movie trailer- not thrilled with the casting for Tris.
