Has anyone ever run a background check for a nanny/babysitter?
Just wondering if you can recommend a reputable site.
We are starting the interview process for nannies today, and I want to be sure we know who we are hiring.

I just got a tutoring job for the fall after putting my profile on care.com at the recommendation of moms on here. When I signed up for the site, it asked if I wanted to pay $10 to run a background check but I declined because I just signed up for the site and didn't feel comfy putting my social security number and all my other info on a site I knew nothing about but after the mother hired me she paid the site for me to have a background check, so I did it because I would want to know about the person watching my child as well, I just have to be sure to check my credit report often (giving info out over the internet scares the heck out of me).
I know sittercity runs backgrounds as well

Unfortunately, the person we are interested in isn't on sittercity. We found her through craigslist, so we need to run an independent background check.
Anyone know of a good site we can use?

We used Fidelifacts and I thought they were very thorough.
