Has anyone been to The Salsa Shack at Tobay?
If so, how was the food? And more importantly, how were the bugs?

The food is fine. It's not bad, but it's definitely not gourmet...you're paying more for the environment. The bug situation was not bad at all the last time I was there. This year they put up a netting all around the perimeter of the deck to try to keep them away.

Has anyone been to The Salsa Shack at Tobay?
We went there last year in July or August (I can't remember) and the food was good but the bug situation was terrible! We started at a table outside with an umbrella and then quickly moved to table under the structure.

I go there all the time. I have never had an issue with bugs. The food is ok, not bad, not amazing, but you are there really to eat outside and the view. I love going to Tobay.

We went there on 4th of July...the food was good but I thought the food and drinks we're a little pricey for want you got....but I would definitely go back

Has anyone been to The Salsa Shack at Tobay?
I went last night and really disliked it. The atmosphere is nice and the drinks aren't bad, so I'd probably go back for a drink at the bar. However the service was awful and the food was not very good at all. I ordered the chicken fajitas, the chicken was rubbery and the meal was very bland. My sister's water tasted weird and I got two dirty plates, sent the first one back because it was dirty and received a replacement that had dried food on it.
