Re: Has anyone been to see Pee Wee Herman on Broadway?
I have!
I loved it. If you were ever a Pee Wee fan, its a must-see. The whole show is like an extended episode of his show, with much of the original cast. The set alone is amazing...lots of gasps from the crowd in regard to the cast, set, and puppets.
I'm thinking of going again around Christmas!

We have tickets for next Saturday's matinee and can't wait, but we have two extra tickets and no one wants to go with us so I was wondering if it was getting bad press

It only opened last night so the reviews are out today. I've only read three so far, but they all give it a pretty positive spin...hopefully some of your friends will see the reviews and it'll get them interested!

What seats did you have? I want to buy tickets and I'm not sure if if I want to get the seats closer to the stage.

I was four rows back, on the aisle. I would say that being a bit further back would give you a greater scope of the stage, and the set is amazing so being a little further back in the Orch or toward the front of the Mezz is probably your best bet!

Re: Has anyone been to see Pee Wee Herman on Broadway?
We went last weekend. It was really funny and brought back memories I didn't remember I had lol There are some sex jokes, really all I could think about was when he got caught in that movie theater lol! But it was really good!
We were in row F, I think, really good view.

I keep telling my DH I want to go, but we have no kids and feel weird going with just the two of us. I think I'll have to borrow one my nieces or nephew for the day.
