Has anyone been to Provincetown, MA?
DH and I just booked our "babymoon" in Cape Cod! We are staying 2 nights near Hyannis and 3 nights in Provincetown.
After we booked the hotel in Provincetown, we noticed it had "GLBT" resort on it. Now we know that Provincetown is a very gay area and obviously it doesn't bother us but I just want to make sure that we aren't offending anyone by showing up at a GLBT resort, KWIM?
Sorry for the silly question
ETA: Thank you for the replies! We actually cancelled the reservation, more so because it was more of a party place than relaxing

you wont be offending anyone as long as you are ok with the situation.
I find everyone there to be super friendly so if you are ok with the lifestyle and people around you being very open then you will be fine.

I've been but only as a daytrip while staying on the Cape. I don't think it would be a big deal at all. During the day, it was just a cute fishing village, we ate seafood and shopped. If you are okay with it being a LGBT resort, I can't see of any problems that will come up.

We did and LOVED it! We didn't stay there but the restaurants are great and it is a cute little town.

I've never been there but it's pretty famous. P'Town is very well-known as being a gay-friendly destination, like Fire Island is. But it has less of a "wild party" reputation than Fire Island. I think there's a lot to do up there; it sounds nice.
