Has anyone been to a popular book signing at Barnes & Noble?
My mom is on line now for a number to see Betty White later.
We are wondering if they go in number order for the signing, or if you have to stand in line when you get there all over again?

I've only been to see popular authors at Borders, but it was the same numbers once you got in there as well.

I think each book store has it's own policy, additionally, the author can add their own stipulations as well - pictures or not, how many books, etc.

I went to an Alton Brown book signing at the B&N on 5th Ave in the city.
They did not give out numbers, you lined up and stayed on line until the signing started.

We went to see Artie Lange at B&N. You get in line based on what number you have. It was actually pretty organized.
