Harassing phone calls
About a week ago, I received a voicemail that the IRS was suing me. Assuming that it was a scam, I Googled the number and confirmed my suspicions. I blocked the number. Every day--or every other day--a new number is calling me and leaving me the same voicemail. I block the number, and then, the cycle continues with a new number. Is there anything I can do?

I don't think there is much you can do. Other then don't do any surveys, raffles or add your # to any online forms. That's how I think they get them

I have been getting the same calls! I keep blocking the number and a new number starts calling! It's annoying

This is a scam. They don't go by "do not call" unfortunately.
I found that if I stopped answering the phone they stop calling.

They eventually give up
My other go to is answering the phone and saying. "Thank you for calling Applebee's featuring great car side carry out, my name is Stacy how can I help you?"
Then there is a long pause, a hang up and they never call back

I'm getting the same calls for almost 2 weeks!! I turned off my VM 2 days ago and the finally stopped calling. Absolutely infuriating!!!!!

Harassing phone calls
I wouldn't call it harassing but for five years we've been getting a call "from Sprint" that some woman's phone bill is overdue. It's always a recording and we have no idea who she is. I don't know how they could still have the wrong number for her and I tend to doubt that it's really sprint because I would think it would say so on my caller ID.
