hanging a quilt
Is anyone going to do this since we're not supposed to put them in the crib? If so, is there a special rod to hang a quilt? Where would you get something like this?

Re: hanging a quilt
Do you have a chair in the room, use it as a throw in there?

Yes they make rods.
I got my sister in law (err exSIL) for my nephew. It had a sleeve sew into it so it could be hung.

Re: hanging a quilt
ok maybe this is a stupid question, but I'm just learning. Why can't you put a quilt in the crib? Can it suffocate the baby because quilts are heavy?

Re: hanging a quilt
If it doesn't have a space to put a rod it, then how do you hang it?
For now I have a quilt that I'm putting on the chair in DS's room, but I don't want people sitting on it.
