Ham in Calzones

Someone gave me a ham calzone, with ham and ricotta.

It's been heated up is it okay to eat the ham?

Thank you.

I can't even tell you the last time I ate ham. It was years ago and although there is a lot of ham in this calzone I'm taking most of it out.

Thanks again Chat Icon

My doc says as long as its heating to the point of steaming. I'm sure the inside of that calzone was steaming when it came out of the oven. Enjoy!!

Re: Ham in Calzones

Its not that you can't get cold cuts while pregnant.
You just have to be careful of where you are getting them from (which is even the case when not preggo)
and you just have to watch how much you eat of it. Not all day every day if you know what I mean.

The only thing is with ham - it makes you swell and sooooo thirsty!!!

Yes, if it was hot there is no worry for listeria.
