"HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY" playdate ??? **RESCHEDULE ??**
Anyone interested in getting the kiddies together and having them wear their Halloween costumes ?
We just had a costume party for John Anthony's birthday and it turned out great, so cute seeing all the costumes.
We might as well let them enjoy their costumes as much as possible. and since we've been trying to set up playdates anyway, why not have them all dressed up?
Now, location and date and time, we know how this is going to end  
Our goal: Location central to all, FREE or low cost, lots of room for the kiddies to run around, no time limit (or at least 1 1/2 hrs?).
I know libraries allow you to book rooms, Im not sure what their rules are though. If there's enough interest, I can do further research...
or can we rent a little playplace?
or theres always chucke cheese or mcdonalds
WE HOPE THAT THIS CAN WORK OUT ! IT WILL BE SO MUCH FUN! So as not to go too far past "Halloween Days" and into the "Holidays", lets get this going next week. LETS SEE HOW THIS DATE WORKS:
NEXT WED **NOV 1st** @ 11am
Location to be kept private for safety reasons. Suffolk location. North Shore.
FM Anna or AndreaLMT for info and to RSVP.
Lets see some cute costumes!!

sheesh party pooper moms!
im planning to do this off the boards anyway, party-moms FM me if youre interested!
we're getting tons of use out of our costumes this year. next week one of our mommy and me's, a group of about 3o kids is going to a senior home to bring smiles to the elderly

How about Wood Kingdom in Farmingdale? They have open play for about $10.00 maybe its less everyday in their party rooms.

is it $10 per child ?
that can get pricey for a mommy of 3  especially if it doesnt include meals, babysitting, and a pedicure )
and would they mind us going in with halloween costumes, does it get crowded during weekday mornings?
im glad theres more interest!
those that Fmd me, we'll all think of something!
and we should keep the place/time off the boards for safety reasons too.

Im happy to plan it as long as we can all find a date and time that works, thats usually the hardest part. but please feel free to jump in and plan what you think we can get moving on.
and where does everyone live, this way we can find a fair middle-ground.
if anyone lives in east northport, if the library allows it, we can book the room there, huge roomy, clean, carpeted, but im not sure if we can bring food/snacks, etc. and we'd have the whole room to ourselves.
Ive booked it through mommy groups that were nonprofit organizations, so not sure if we can call ourselves an "organization" 
everyone please feel free to throw out ideas or ask around. Some mommy/play places might let us use their place on off hours for a small fee.
so first order of business, location-so we can call around or get ideas.

sorry I havent been able to get online today, lets get a roll call of who can come, where everyone lives and availability.
Im in suffolk - smithtown/commack.
Weekday mornings are prob best.
should we set up a poll, or everyone can FM me their email and we can set it up offline for safety reasons.
i would consider free options first, libraries, chucke cheese, mc D's etc.
and then other things, maybe pay to use a playplace during its OFF hours, how much would that run?

so the dreaded word "RESCHEDULE" has come up.
I REALLY dont want anyone to reschedule if the day is still good and you can go, please do so !
But so far I will be working, and Andrea's Alex may be getting a cold and she doesnt want to get any cuties sick.
I beleive there were 6-7 moms interested in going. I can FM all of you so you know who's still going.
OR You can FM me if youd just like to reschedule.
and if we do reschedule, to when?
Im so sorry to do this when I was so excited to plan this.
Again, Id love it if you ladies still went this week and we can do another one very soon!

I'm so sorry ladies, but Alex has her first cold.
Don't want to get any other kids sick.
I REALLY hope we can reschedule, I was SO looking forward to this.
