Hall Rental in Islip Area?
Can anyone help me pick out a cheap rental hall in the Islip area? I'm not looking in only exactly Islip, but just near that area since it's somewhat towards the middle of Merrick and Rocky Point LOL. Since DS Christening is done, I want to start booking the 1st bday party so it doesn't hit me as hard lol. I have used the Elks Hall in Patchogue, ad wasn't too happy with the way they ended it. They sprung it on us that we needed to vacuum and pile the chairs and tables up when we still have 45 mins left!! We weren't happy. We have also useda restaurant or two for other events, but I'm really only looking for a hall this time. It can be VFW, Elks, anything. Is there a website I can search for all the ones in an area or something? I know each place has way different prices so I want to call as many as possible. ANY recomendations would be awesome! TIA!!!

We recently used the Ancient Order of Hibernians hall in Babylon and were very happy with them.

offhand the only place in islip i can think of is Marconi Manor, i think it is part of the Sons of Italy (could be wrong on that part, but it is part of a lodge). Havent been there in years, but did go to a 1st bday party there..hth

Re: Hall Rental in Islip Area?
We used the Amvet on Main st. in Bay Shore and were very happy with them. I think it was $400 for 4-5 hrs, $30/server if needed. I think it was $2/pp for soda and coffee and maybe $7 for wine and beer too? Don't remember. It's a newly renovated room and we had about 90 people. I think that's about the max. Here's the # for the gentleman that does the rentals. His name is John, 6319034419.

We went to a wedding here and they said it was very reasonably priced.
