Half Day Kindergarten
DS is in half day kindergarten. Worst part is it's in the afternoon. Hate trying to keep him busy in the mornings, but not overstimulated so he's not tired to start school. If I could choose I would do morning. So much easier. Anyway, was considering doing a kindergarten enrichment program in the mornings. I just don't want to overdo it for him either. I feel like 2.5 hours is just not enough. I was also looking into another programs that is a few hours one night a week.
Thoughts or share some advise? I just hate spending a fortune on school too when he goes already. My other DS who's 3 goes to a private preschool and that costs a lot. He goes 3 days a week and DS1's K enrichment would be the 2 days a week.

Half Day Kindergarten
Our district has half day K and I plan on sending DS to enrichment next year.
He's been in daycare since he was 11 weeks old so I feel he needs more structure than just half a day of school (the other option would be to send him to daycare for the other half day where he'd be in before/aftercare which isn't educational).
I think it's worth it and will help with the transition to first grade.

Re: Half Day Kindergarten
Thanks! I decided to send him. I'm looking at a school tomorrow that offers kindergarten enrichment and sending him in two mornings a week. My friend's son goes there as well and she's happy. Worth the money to get the extra work.

I know a lot of people have sent there children to Ivy League and were very happy.
