Hair/makeup for baby shower
I was thinking I may want to get my hair blown out and get my makeup done for my shower... Any recommendations on where to go? I'm not too concerned about hair because I'm not doing anything crazy, but makeup makes me nervous. I don't want to look like a clown! Lol
ETA: I'm in western nassau in the garden city area. The shower is on a Sunday at the end of May

You can try Dry Bar in Roslyn for hair. I have had good experiences there.

I've had the best experiences at Ulta with both the salon & makeup counter. And their prices are very reasonable. $40 for makeup (using high end products) and $37-$47 for a wash/cut & style.

Yeah I've heard about it and always wanted to go- that's a good idea... I am not a fan of Mac for makeup though.. Maybe I can look around for the makeup
