Hair after a salon appt

I had my highlights done last night and just left wet. They did brush it out and I let it air dry.
This morning my hair feels like silk!
Also love it when I get it blown out professionaly.
Why can't I get my hair to feel like silk and be smooth like it does after a hair appt?!
I've tried every shampoo and nothing ever gets it close

Any advise?

Did you look to see what they used on your hair?

I also see a difference in my hair when I make sure to shampoo with hot water and I rinse out the conditioner with cold water..makes my hair shinier too

I always get a clear glaze at the salon and the Kerastase conditioning treatment. It helps to leave my hair after coloring shiny and soft for a few weeks.

I bet they sell them at Ulta...and the kerastate conditioning treatments too.

My salon uses Biosilk Silk Therapy serum. It leaves my hair soooo silky, soft, , shiny and frizz-free. It's a little costly but worth it IMO. I just run through a few drops in my hair after I've come out of the shower, right before styling. For extra shine, I'll run a few more drops through my hair after blow-drying. It's light and doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy.
