Had to start progesterone injections today.
I went for another follow up sonogram to check on my cervix which was a little on the short side. It turns out that it got even shorter, only 2 cm. The dr. at the sono. office called my dr. who told me he wanted to start progesterone treatments right away. I have to go back every week. I hope everything turns out ok...

I had to do as well. If your cervix improves, you can come off them. They do hurt, but its all worth it..:)
who's your Doctor? I have Kofinas.

who's your Doctor? I have Kofinas.
I go to Berka on 92nd & 4th. I was so calm when they were telling me that the cervix is too short, the shots etc. and then as soon as I got home I got this really nervous, unsure feeling. I thought for the first time...what if...

I had them too and also a few admits for more hospital treatment and I didnt deliver till 39 and 1/2 weeks. HANG IN THERE!!

My dr. said that if the progesterone wasn't working then we would talk about a cerclage, but that he was in the group of drs. that didn't really believe in their value.

Hmm I'm pretty sure they can only be done up to 24 weeks. Howoften are they seeing you now?
