Had no idea I'd be back so soon! In shock!
Well, my DS will be 10 months next week and he's going to be a big brother. I hate to admit it, but I'm a little sad to think he won't be my only priority. I feel like I wanted more time with just him. Then I feel guilty for not being crazy excited for this new LO. I know I'll be happy once the initial shock wears off, but I can't stop crying now. I'm 8weeks & 2 days. I know they'll be close so it helps to think he is going to have someone to play with. I also had a reaalllly horrible pregnancy wih my son so im petrified of that pain happening again. Idk, I just have so many emotions running in my head. Stupid hormones!!! Anyway, I'm back on the pregnancy boards. Crazy.

first of all Congrats!!!!
my sister had my nephew and niece very close together...my niece was a surprise. She had similar feelings as you are having. She was excited, but also scared and feeling super guilty that my nephew wouldn't be the only one anymore. I think how you are feeling is totally normal. Everything will turn out great and your LOs will be close since they are going to be close in age!

Congratulations!
I think that most 2nd time Moms feel that way no matter what age their 1st DC is. I bet your son will adjust just fine especially since he is so young. I bet it's going to be great having two so close in age

Ita My sisters kids are very close in age too. and they are the best of friends. It will be great.

awww, your feelings are normal but i'm sure once the shock starts to wear off you will be so happy to welcome the new family member! Two of my bridesmaids are like 10 months apart and they are BFF.

First Congrats!!!
I got pregger with this one when my DS was 6 months. He is now 8 months.
I felt the same way!! How can DS not be the ONLY priority...then I freak out and cry...
My last pregnancy was rough I had MS from months 3-6. UGH was it awful!!!
But I keep looking at DS feeling guilty...but then I think
1. the baby is not coming this sec I still have a long way to go where DS is the priority and I am going to enjoy every moment with him
2. He is going to have a brother or sister to be close to and hang out with.
Trust me once the shock wears off it is ok!!! I still have moments of OMG but they are lessening.
Congrats!!!
I am still in hiding I will come out in a month or so I have family & Friends on here we are not telling just yet.

Awe Thats exciting- trust me you'll feel better later - Me and my brother are 14 months apart. We were so close growing up. He was even my maid (man) of honor at my wedding. There are lots of positives too- you'll see! one day at a time!

same exact thing happen to me, my son was 10 months as well. i know exactly how you feel. Dont worry, it gets better and you will get more excited. the first few weeks are rough after baby is born but its so nice once they get a little bigger, my boys r so cute together. congratulations & try your best to enjoy.
