Had My Baby Girl!
I am thrilled to share that our daughter, Bridget Jane, was born this morning at 9:31 am. I was 39 weeks and 1 day. I started having painful contractions around 11:30 last night. I finally called the doc around 2am and she had me come in to be checked. I was only 1.5cm dilated but in so much pain that they admitted me. I progressed quickly to 3.5cm and had my epidural. It started wearing off and I was in so much pain in my back! They checked me before topping off the epi and I was at 10 in less than 2 hours! 5 pushes later out she came!
I am completely exhausted but totally in love! North Shore Manhasset has been wonderful!!
