Had first appt with Dr. B today
I am so happy to finally be starting the process of getting answers. I really liked Dr. B and how he laid all the possibilities for IF out there. I had bloodwork done for the immunological testing today (ugh, that's going to cost a lot), and left with scripts for the clotting bloodwork, and some genetic bloodwork (karyotype, and something about the 6th chromosome). I will also go in for CD 3 testing and another test to check my tubes, but not a HSG. Whatever it was, he said it's less painful, which made me happy.
So, hopefully within a month, I will have some answers and a plan.

you are in great hands. there is no professional in any other field that i would recommend more than i recommend dr. b.
is the other test a hysteroscopy? i had one with him too. its really quick and doesnt hurt more than an AF cramp.

Yes, it's a hysteroscopy. I couldn't remember it for the life of me. I swear, he told me so much today, and it all made sense in his office, but now my brain is mush.

I'm scheduled for a hysteroscopy for next Thursday with Dr B....Tests like this always make me nervous

The thing I loved most about Dr. B is he really understood how important it was to us to get started right away and didn't waste anytime.

seriously the hysteroscopy is NOTHING. its so quick. i was nervous beforehand too but it was really quick. he literally goes in, you cramp from the saline, and its over. thats it.
