Had baby
Hi gals, last night fluid check indicated low afi so I had to be induced this am at 7am... Had a very tough birth that almost wound up as a c section but my ob stuck it out with baby and between internal monitoring, ob's manual dilation, my doula's coaching and a vacuum, ds was born at 7:36pm. Ob even had the operating room all prepped and dh in scrubs but God saw us through a vaginal delivery. Did not get epidural and funny thing is I was so focused on pushing to try and avoid the section that epi never came to my mind. I did have an episiotomy which I gotta say is painful as heck right now because they put me on pitocin to contract uterus. Ds is in nursery now and can't wait to have him back with us! Things went so fast once I was in there that there was not much chance for me to text or anything. Rooms are great at Northshore Manhasset and the nurses are really great :). Will post pics later!

Congrats! I'm at north shore manhasset now for monitoring bc of high blood pressure. The rooms r great over here! Glad to hear god was on ur side and no need for a c-section! Congrats on your baby boy!
