Had a growth sono last night...
Baby is growing well but I have low amniotic fluid at 33wks. I have to drink a gallon of water a day and repeat the sono friday.
Has this happened to anyone?

Re: Had a growth sono last night...
It hasnt happened to me but I had friends in similar situations. For some, their fluid levels went back up. For others, they were put on bedrest.
Hopefully, everything is ok at the repeat sono!

Re: Had a growth sono last night...
With my first, I had a grwoth sono where my fluid looked a little low and I drank water like a lunatic. By the time I had the sono redone I was in the normal range.

Re: Had a growth sono last night...
I had this happen to me at 32 weeks. I drank like crazy, but it never entered the "normal" range again. I had biweekly biophysical profiles and bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy. I knew that if my levels went down too much, I would go back to the hospital for monitoring and a possible c-section, so I tried really hard to drink tons of water and do as little physical activity as possible. My DD is now 10 months and was born and still is perfectly healthy. One great part was that my OB requested a neonatologist be present at the birth in case of any abnormalities, so I knew she was in good hands from the first seconds!

Re: Had a growth sono last night...
I had low fluid with my first son, when I drank water the levels went up. Try not to worry, it's pretty common
