Growth Sono last night
At 37 weeks, Max Power is measuring at 6 pounds, 11 ounces. On track for an 8 pound birth, which is apparently completely average. I'm so relieved, I thought for sure I had a 10 pound baby in there.
Plenty of amniotic fluid.
Head is downtown, ready to go. Yet feel are still all the way up under my boob.
No pics, since his face is backwards and his head is under my pelvic bone.
I guess he's not dropping any more? He's just stretched out, kicking it like he's in a hammock in Mexico?
That's my boy.

I had one last night also. Rylan is also measuring 6lbs 11oz...turns out I will not be giving birth to a freakishly large child!! I was a fingertip dialated also.

Is it normal to have a growth sono?
My office said there won't be anymore sonos unless they are concerned with size, position, fluid.
I am curious of how much she weighs.

That is so strange...lol. Did they say whether you were dialated or not?

My doctor doesn't do them either unless the reasons you stated are present. I am so curious to see how big or small  is. After feeling up my belly, the doctor did predict an 8 and 1/2 pounder though. But how accurate can that really be? Oh well.

Way to go Max!!!!
But all this weight thing just makes me wonder... WHERE DOES THE REST OF THE 40 pounds that mom gained go?? Can my boobs possible weight 10 pounds each?? I mean if so great... but come on. I kind of AM expecting a 15 pound baby - at least then I will feel better about the weight gain!!!

My dr was the same way, although I had 2 at the very end because DS was almost 10lbs!
Congrats, seems like your baby will be here before you know it!

he said it was just deposits, like I suspected- calcium maybe, other minerals. But that it's normal. they tested my pee for kidney stones and UTI and stuff, and I'm all good.
