Had 12 week appointment, and all good news!
We went last Thursday for our 12 week sono, and it was a great appointment! The tech said the baby showed no physical markers for down syndrome, and because I am fairly young she sees no reason to believe the bloodwork will come back and say otherwise. Rocky is still extremely active, and was doing somersaults every 30 seconds to a minute. It was crazy to see him flipping around like that, knowing that something is inside of me doing that yet I can't feel it. But he cooperated and we were able to get all the pictures we needed. And from my last appointment at 9w3d when he measured 9w2d, he now measured 13w1d, even though I was only 12w3d at the time!!!! That's 6 days of growth he gained over the 3 weeks that elapsed!!! Maybe he is going to be tall after all 
His hb was still very fast and strong, though now I'm nervous that 173 is too fast seeing some of the other rates here. The poor little guy seems to already have ADHD with all his flailing around and hyperactivity and nervousness.
But the best news of all is that they could not see the bleed anymore. The tech said this type of sono she wouldn't really see it anyway, but she went back and double checked, and said that my placenta was perfectly formed, so she has no reason to believe the blood was still there and caused a disruption, and she still couldn't see it, plus if it was going to cause a problem it would have by now. So we're going to assume that this means it just absorbed, and hopefully it is all smooth sailing from here!

Great news!!! I am glad everything is looking good. As for the HB my LO's was really high in the beging but has come down quite a bit more recently.

thats such great news. such a relief to you and your DH huh?
as for the HB...at 10 weeks  was 164 and at 12w it was 171. i think its normal for it to fluctuate

Glad to hear it went well today! You must be so relieved!
When do you get to go over things with your doctor? Techs really aren't supposed to tell you nearly as much as yours told you -- I'm really surprised! She must've been extremely confident in her findings to give you all that information.
As far as the HB goes, 173 is fast, but strong! She/he was probably just very excited to be on camera!

Oh that's so awesome!!!
Good she doesn't see any DS markers. that's what they are looking for with that sono so it's a really good thing.
you guys must feel sooo happy!!!
