gurgerly stomach - 12 week old

DD is 12 weeks and dealing with both reflux and a milk allergy. we just switched her formula to Elecare because she was still getting mucus and blood in her stool while on nutramagin.

i have noticed that her stomach has been very gurgerly..not like a stomch growl when hungry, but gurgerly. anyone have any thoughts if this is the formula, reflux, maybe she needs to poop??

she's been very uncomfortable today and she hasnt pooped since last night, so i'm getting a little concerned...

sounds like it could be because she needs to poop. DS gets very cranky and kicks his legs, arches his back a lot. we were told to give him mylanta to help
maybe call your ped and see if they can offer you any advice over the phone

My DD is on neocate and she has some digestive issues as well. I hear the gurgling, and there is sometimes 48 hrs without a poop and she seems to be straining a lot (never hard poop though so not constipated). We went to a GI and no one really knows the cause (I think it's just developmental personally). We've been told to try prune juice with water and also maalax at other times. Nothing has really solved it. She is 16 weeks. My DS had something similar with his digestion and was also on neocate.
