green tea increasing milk production
Anyone hear or experience anything about green tea increasing milk production?
I've been drinking blueberry iced green tea that I make using trader joe tea bags. Maybe 2 glasses a day and all fo the sudden My boobs have been going CRAZY
I've NEVER felt engorged or uncomfortable, even when my milk came in and last night I had to PUMP to relieve some of it. Alexa is still nursing 8+ times a day....
anyone have a clues as to what may be going on. This is the only new thing I've been eating/drinking.
I am almost 6 mos pp BTW
Thanks!

Green tea does have caffeine in it, which you might not want to be getting in your breast milk.
I used Mother's Milk tea from GNC. It is an herbal tea with fenugreek in it and is supposed to help with supply issues.
Not sure what to take for an over supply, though.

As for the Trader Joe's tea, I would call the customer service line and talk to them about it.
