Great Wolf....skeevy or clean?

Water parks in general gross DH out. I'm trying to convince him we should take DD for a weekend, she is almost 2 and I think she'll love it. Whats your experience been with Great Wolf? Does it "feel" clean?

Re: Great Wolf....skeevy or clean?

I have never been there but intend to go this winter.
From what I hear, it is clean and the pictures that I have seen--the place looks nice!
check out the reviews on tripadvisor.com as well!

There have been numerous reports of Bedbugs (although any hotel can and does have these). Just wanted to give you the heads up.

I know many people who go there and enjoyed it. But the above is correct. 2 years ago two families at my DD's pre-k class went together got bitten all over from them when they went. So it definitely does happen. Now having said that. I think it can happen anywhere.

Very nice, very clean. Went twice last year and already have a stay booked for Feb. DD was not quite 2 when we went last year and she had a blast!!

Great Wolf....skeevy or clean?

We went to Williamsburg location December 2013, and the Poconos December 2012. We had great experiences at each location

I don't think they are skeevy but I didn't love it there. I probably would not go again.

I would much prefer to go to fly south for some pool time in the winter.

I think most people would but you can't compare the two...a weekend at great wold is a fraction of the cost of just flying south.

Unless your going on a weekday rate the prices just aren't worth it to me for what is offered.

I spent about $1000 total for 3 nights over a weekend last summer for me and 2DDs. It's would have cost a lot more for is to fly south!!

OMG that's nuts, that is ridiculous! We always go sunday to Monday because of DH's work. And we wait for either a groupon or return visit deal!
