Great appt. today!
So after my fiasco and drama being in L&D last Monday, I was terrified to go for my weekly monitoring at the high risk today.
Luckily the baby was cooperating and moving around like crazy. They gave me a biophysical profile scan, and checked my fluid levels. Since 20 weeks I've been diagnosed with Polyhydramnios, which is essentially excess amniotic fluid in the sac. As time has gone on, it's been monitored and always remained on the slightly high side, but not too crazy.
I peaked last Monday at 32.8 - and the docs were NOT happy about it. If I had risen again this week, there would be talk of induction or possible c/s because of the pressure the fluid is putting on my uterus and cervix.
Fluid went down to 24!  While that is still high (anything over 20 is high), it is a good sign that things are moving in the right direction.
I'm VERY happy about this and tomorrow is my first internal to see about progress. But all signs seem to point to this kid staying put for at least another week or two.

It's hard to make out -- but the baby's face is turned toward the screen, and it was kind of laughing. You can see the hands moving up towards the face, then the black spot is the mouth open, nose and eyes!
