We went to Innovative Stone, they were great! They were almost a 600 dollars cheaper than any fabricator we looked at.

K and K in Bethpage - Really good selection and the granite is completely sealed - you never have to seal it again

How do they do this? They sealed mine when they installed it and said it should be done every few years?

Honestly I dont know - you would have to ask them. They only pick out the finest slabs. We got Black Galaxy and we wanted a lot of gold in it and he had a huge selection of slabs with little and with a lot of gold in it. We were recommended to him and very happy with everything - including install

Our granite came with the lifetime sealer also. We could choose any slab from any granite yard. And we only paid for what we used - some places make you pay for the whole slab even if you don't use it. We also had the ogee edge included ( no surcharge). They were quick and did a good job. Most places told us we would have to have a seam but this place did the countertops without a seam. We used KV Master Marble and Granite on Rt. 109 just east of Rt. 110.

I recently saw a small store near my parents that have granite starting at $48/sq ft!! I thought that was a great price. They are in Smithtown, the place was literally right by the bull, across from the canoe place, not sure if you are familiar with the area. If not, FM me and I can give you directions, sorry I don't remember the name of the store.

We went to Exotic Stones & Fabrications in Farmingdale...they were the best price by far, they sent us to the granite yard which had an overwhelming (in a great way) amount of slabs. Here's their # (516) 391-9300.
