graduated from RE, but upset
i graduated from the RE yesterday at 9 weeks, 4 days. if youve been reading my posts youll know that i have a huge clot along with my two wonderful babies.
so far the babies are doing as great as they can be. they both have strong heartbeats, are measuring on time and have grown appropriately each visit.
the RE said something to me that made me kind of upset though. i was told that we had not cleared a window in terms of the safety of the babies yet and that still anything can happen even though all looks good right now.
when i see the clot on the screen, it looks almost bigger than the gestational sac of each baby. its really large in size and hasnt gotten any smaller despite the tons of bleeding that i have had.
would love some prayers for my little babies because i just love them already and dont want to lose them

When I was pregnnt with DD I also had a huge clot. If you look at this picture on my old blog, you can see how big the clot was.

Just to the right of the baby, outside of the sac, that large dark area- that was the clot.
If you read that entry- the perinatologist told me to cross my fingers and hope for the best, because the clot could bleed out and bring the baby with it.
Luckily- within a couple weeks, it bled out completely and my baby was just fine.
I suggest you avoid sex and strenuous activities.
I'll be praying for you!

thank you, you have been so kind in sharing your story with me during this time. i remember the clot you had and the bleeding. its so scary. its werid because i have had a lot of bleeding but the clot isn't getting any smaller
much to my DHs dismay we have been avoiding sex since the bfp at least!
