Graco Infant carseats-Question
Just wondering when you need to remove the newborn insert from the seat? I have the snugride 35, and I think I should take it out, I know the Chicco is 11 lbs...

DD is 16.5 pounds, 6 months old we just took it out because she couldn't fit anymore and whever she fell asleep it would make her head fall forward.

lol..I don't know if all of the seats have it, it is common on the chicco...
there is a removable newborn insert that helps their heads stay steady when in the seat, but there is a weight limit n them...I can't find my manual, and I cant download from graco web, bc acrobat is being a beyotch!

Yes I removed that seat part when he was like 3 mos (he weighed about 14lbs) the seatbelts fit so much better now. His arms aren't squished together anymore.
