Gotta ask the parents...
Do you have friends on FB (or you yourself) who complain on an almost hourly basis about being a parent? I'm being serious.
Snot nose, cleaning, cooking, running around, riding the family pet, screaming, up all night, etc.....

No. That would annoy me. We all have rough days with our kiddos but to constantly complain is annoying.

Yeah that's kinda what I figured, considering I have other parents on my friend list and I never hear the hourly tirade from them...I mean the occasional "I was up all night" but that's to be expected!

I do too; but not about being a parent. This one person is beyond.

and now that I am having such an "easy" time with DD it is getting worse b/c she has to one up me on everything (or I guess one down me LOL)

I don't really have any friends like that. And honestly, a lot of my statuses have to do with my kids, but that's because I'm usually home alone at night while my hubby is working and I have nothing else to talk about
I'm sure some people who don't actually know me would see some of my statuses as complaining, but I actually find so much humor in being a parent that I post a lot of what goes on with my kids because I think it's funny.
For example, tonight I had a hard time getting the kids to go to sleep because one would fall asleep, then the other would wake up, then that one would fall asleep and the other would wake up. As I was sitting down on the couch after they fell asleep, it dawned on me that it was like some bizarre game of whack-a-mole, so I posted something to the effect of that on FB because it was funny to me. but I can see how someone would think I was complaining.
