I totally went to this exact wedding two years ago. It was I think July two years ago when we had those three day spells of 90 and above heat.
The reception was in a restaurant , and there was no air because it was on the outside deck...oh my god is all I have to say. The boys were wearing full suits and half way through the reception went back to the hotel and changed into t-shirts, shorts and flip flops. It was so uncomfortable, almost no one danced because it was so hot.
Yes it may not be so bad, but bring a change of clothes for the ride home just in case you sweat for the full reception!
