Going to a new OB/GYN & have a question...

So I have not been happy with my gyn so I tried to make an appt with a new one and couldn't get in until May 30th.

I never really paid attention before - but is there a particular time frame during your cycle that you are suppose to go to the gyn? I am probably going to get AF by the end of the week therefore will ovulate around the 25th. So I am a little nervous about someone poking around up there a few days after trying to conceive. I know it sounds ridiculous but could the egg get dislodged? I mean it might not even be implanted yet so I am worried it will fall out...

Sorry for the ridiculous questions - this is all kind of new to me!
