Going out to dinner on Christmas
Any ideas for a festive and kid friendly place to have dinner on Christmas?

Going out to dinner on Christmas
I think it's only open on Christmas Eve (not day), but the Milleridge would be nice - if Eve could work for you

Thank you for the suggestion. We have a big family get together on Christmas Eve and then everyone splits off to the in-laws on Chrsitmas Day.
My in-laws are in another state so its just me, DH and our kids.
I called the Milleridge and they are closed on Christmas Day.

Just beware while it is beautiful, the food is some of the worst food I have ever had in my life! been going for 38 years, and it got bad I'd say a decade ago, but we still went for the atmosphere. Finally last year we said the price can't even justify the pretty Christmas decorations. I'm glad they were saved from being shut down, but I really don't understand how people eat that crap.

Yeah the food is awful. How they haven't gotten better chefs or menus in all this time is beyond me. Crazy for the prices

I just looked on Opentable and tons of restaurants are open on Xmas Day. Check there.

I agree. I ate there once and the food was awful, not to mention the smell of mildew that was lingering when we walked in. I am always amazed that people go there over and over.

It has a lot of potential but needs new management. It needs Gordon Ramsey to come in there ASAP
LOL
