Going for fibronectin test...**UPDATED 1/9**
Please pray for a negative!!!!!!! I should know the results by this evening.
Boy did I have a crappy day yesterday......Well the good news is the test came back negative, so I will most likely not go into labor in the next two weeks (I'm 28 weeks now).
I had an appt. with the perinatologist for my growth sono and my cervix has shortened a bit more -- down to 1.1 cm from 1.5 last week. He made me go to my regular OB (which is right across the street) to get a steroid shot to help develop their lungs. I go for the second shot this morning. Strict bedrest is, of course, to be continued......
I then had a consult with a pediatric urologist because both kidneys on both boys are mildly enlarged. He will have to do an ultrasound once they are born. He says it's likely to resolve on it's own and they see this very frequently.
What a day!!!
One other plus -- they seem to be doing fine otherwise. They are about 3lbs each so far and kicking like crazy! I just pray I can hold them to AT LEAST 32 weeks.....that's my next goal....
