God parent gift question

I know that (well at least in my family) the God mother usually buys the outfit and the God father buys the cross necklace. We have only had girl God children and now my DH is the God father to two boys. Do you still buy them cross necklaces? Where have you found little boy crosses if so?

Yes, cross necklaces as well. My DH bought his Godson a plain gold cross and chain at a local jeweler. Just ask the jeweler to show you the crosses for boys.

We do this too.

I recently got my nephew his at JC Penney. I searched a million stores for a simple cross that was not feminine or guido like and found a nice one there.

my DS's godfather bought a cross pin...it is beautiful..the bar above the cross that has the pin and the cross dangles from - has his name engraved! He figured it would be cute on a suit later on and would more likely be worn than a necklace! I def agreed!

Kinda like this but just a regular cross and yellow gold..this was just from doing a google search to describe sort of what my DS has
