did your dog treat you differently after you became preggo? My dog just came up to me and layed her head on my belly She usually is a b!tch and ignores me. I'm a sap and teared up a little bit

I miscarried in 08 with my first we only had one yorkie at the time bell a and when we lost the baby i went into big depression and she laid in bed with me didn't eat or get out of bed with me till hubby would come home. Dogs are very intuitive i think they feed sense things are different.

I have two yorkies now and they were always attached to me but now being preg they basically like two book ends they def know something they won't lay on my belly when im on my back but when i lay on my side they fight over who lays near my belly sometimes.

my 2 chihuahuas are always by my side 24-7 normally....but i def. know something is different.

i don't have a dog but my cat sure knows something is going on with me!

I don't have a dog but I have a 3 1/2 year old tuxedo cat. She has a very strong personality but she has been so affectionate and overprotective the past few months. She loves to lay on my lap and cuddle up to me in bed. I'm sure she hears the heartbeats!

Yes, my 1.5 year old cockapoo has been such a mush toward me since I've been pregnant!

my chihuahua lays on my belly constantly. she definetly knows there is a baby in there!
especially yesterday when the baby kicked and she must of felt it because she jumped off and looked at me funny. lol

Absolutely! My pug is by my side 24/7. If anyone comes into the house she runs right next to me and does not move unless i move. She is extremely overprotective of me now more then ever. She is always putting her head on my belly. I just love her

i dont think so, i think my dog is a big dope lol.
i have a 1.5yr old american eskimo and he's a hyper a$$ and still loves to charge me at the door. if he knew i was preg, i think he would slow down a bit but he hasnt.
the only thing he really does now is in the morning whenever i sit on teh floor to put on my shoes i always grunt sitting down or trying to get up cuz well, its hard lol and he'll come flying in the room to see whats up with me, i guess checking on me.

i dont think our dog knows anything is up lol. we've told her she's getting a new sister though and get no reaction lol. she doesnt act any differently towards me.
